Mount Douglas Farm Cottage and Swallows Nest are situated on a small quiet traditional farm, now mainly used for grazing horses. We currently own one cottage 'The Cottage’ with a new apartment ‘Swallows Nest’. We are situated minutes from the beautiful golden sands of Carbis Bay and St.Ives, with the Tate Gallery, restaurants and interesting shops and streets.
In the immediate vicinity are attractive rural and coastal walks including Hayle estuary with its abundance of bird life, sea and freshwater fishing, golfing and windsurfing and ideal surfing locations. In Carbis Bay there is a convenient Cost Cutter supermarket as well as a pharmacy, hairdresser, La Casita restaurant and Romanos trattoria and deli. Just further along is Tescos supermarket.
THE COTTAGE
This modernised granite cottage gives a spacious, light and airy accommodation with traditional fireplace with coal affect gas fire and pine wood flooring. The cottage benefits from a beautiful balcony from the main lounge via a french door to take in the views and enjoy the sunshine.
SWALLOWS NEST
Swallows Nest is a charming first-floor, newly built/modern apartment, just a short stroll from the beach in the picturesque setting of Carbis Bay, Cornwall. With off-road parking for two vehicles, this appealing retreat is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to soak up the best of the Cornish coast.
